Coral Bay Nursing Home

The Good Samaritan Foundation is grateful to support the residents and staff of Corals Bay Nursing Home in Haiti. Through ongoing assistance, the foundation helps address the needs of the home and its residents whenever possible. Most recently, support contributed to the renovation of the nursing home’s roof, helping provide a safer and more secure environment for those who call Corals Bay home. This partnership reflects our commitment to caring for vulnerable members of our communities and ensuring that they are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

2026 Haiti Back-to-School Backpack Drive

 The Good Samaritan Foundation supported students and families in Haiti through our Back-to-School Backpack Drive. We distributed backpacks and lunchboxes filled with school supplies, along with shoes for children. We also donated large quantities of rice and beans to help provide essential support to local families. Together, our community helped make the start of the school year a little brighter.

Muirton's boys home

Muirton's Boys Home was established in 1978 and located in Manchioneal, Portland, Jamaica.  It is a government-operated home for boys with learning, intellectual, and physical disabilities.

Hurricane Melissa relief

Hurricane Melissa, a powerful tropical cyclone that struck Jamaica in late October 2025, caused widespread devastation, leaving many families displaced and without access to basic necessities. In response, we were able to provide much-needed relief supplies to affected families in Trelawny, one of the hardest-hit areas. Our continued commitment is to support recovery efforts and stand with communities as they rebuild and restore stability.

slice of hope 2017 feeding

In 2017, the Good Samaritan Foundation’s Slice of Hope initiative provided warm, nourishing meals to individuals and families in need. Through this effort, we came together to offer food, compassion, and hope to members of the community.

Christmas drive 

In 2016, our beloved founder brought the spirit of Christmas to families in Haiti through a special holiday drive. The initiative provided toys and gifts, food, and essential items to children and families, spreading joy and hope throughout the community during the holiday season.
